AwesomeCalcs ("we", "us", or "our") operates awesomecalcs.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, how we use it, and what choices you have.
Information We Collect
We do not ask you to create an account or submit personal details to use our calculators. The information collected is limited to the following categories.
Usage Data via Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors navigate the site. GA4 collects aggregated, anonymised data such as which pages are visited, how long sessions last, and which country traffic comes from. This data contains no personal identifiers. IP addresses are anonymised before being processed by Google.
Behavioural Data via Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to improve the usability of the site. Clarity records anonymised session replays, heatmaps, and interaction signals such as clicks and scrolling patterns. These recordings help us identify confusing layouts or broken flows. Clarity does not capture the financial figures you type into our calculators.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
AwesomeCalcs also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a lightweight, cookieless traffic measurement tool. Cloudflare does not use cookies or track visitors across sites. It reports only aggregate metrics such as page views and geographic distribution.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Types of Cookies
We use two categories of cookies: analytics cookies (to measure how the site is used) and advertising cookies (to serve relevant ads via Google AdSense). Both categories are described below.
Cookie Consent Banner
Visitors from regions where consent is required before tracking (including the European Union, United Kingdom, and India) will see a cookie consent banner on their first visit. Managing Cookies

Most browsers let you block third-party cookies specifically, which will prevent advertising cookies from loading while leaving the rest of the site fully functional. Note that blocking all cookies may affect how some features behave.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 records anonymised usage statistics including page visits, referral sources, device types, and session durations. We use this information to understand which calculators are most helpful and where the site experience can be improved. GA4 does not receive the numbers you enter into any calculator; only which page you are on is recorded. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity captures anonymised session recordings, scroll maps, and click heatmaps. We review these recordings solely to improve the usability of the site, for example to spot layout issues or calculator flows that confuse users. Clarity automatically masks text fields, so the financial values you enter (such as investment amounts or loan tenures) are never captured in a recording. Google AdSense
AwesomeCalcs displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to show ads based on your browsing behaviour across other sites. We do not control the content of these ads or the data Google collects to personalise them. You can review or adjust your ad personalisation preferences at Google Ad Settings and read more in Google's Advertising Technology Privacy Policy.
How We Use Your Information
- To understand how visitors use the site and which calculators are most useful.
- To identify and fix usability issues in calculator layouts and flows.
- To measure overall site performance and guide future improvements to content and features.
- To serve relevant advertisements through Google AdSense, which funds the free operation of this site.
We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not use your information for automated decision-making that affects you directly.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- The financial figures you enter into any calculator (investment amounts, loan values, income, etc.) are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to our servers.
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other contact information unless you write to us directly.
- We do not currently offer user accounts. If an account feature is introduced in the future, this policy will be updated before it launches.
